[Fixed Defects]
1. Editor
(Editor)
- A window is not drawn when the width or height is 1-dot.
- Display of the stroke font may be shifted for 1 dot.
- In Preview drawing screen, the drawing order of the switch which is
attached to the parts is different from that of the actual equipment.
- When the operation language is changed in the Preferences dialog, Editor
may be terminated abnormally.
- When transfer tool is started immediately after GP-Pro EX is started
Editor may be terminated abnormally.
- When a project file where "Front" is specified for Header/Footer Picture
is read, the header/footer is deleted.
- In "Copy from Another Project":
When copy is executed to a project where Device/PLC is not specified,
Editor may be terminated abnormally.
- When a project including Extended Script is loaded using "Copy from
Another Project", a part of the addresses may be turned in invalid value.
- When the number of the image font exceeded 65535, Editor may be terminated
abnormally.
- When a manual is opened using the Help button in other languages than
Japanese and English, the manual may not be displayed normally.
- In Logic Program Settings:
When "Register Variable" is specified as "Address Format" in the System
Settings, settings may be changed to Device/PLC addresses even when #LOGIC
addresses are specified.
- When tag data is imported in the following connection equipment in
creating a new project, "-Undefined-" is displayed for the watchdog write
address in "Display Unit".

Series: EtherNet/IP
- In "Copy from Another Project":
When a copy destination PLC is cancelled in the specified selection dialog
Editor may be terminated abnormally.
- When a part where system variables related to the Device/PLC are set is
copied between GP-Pro EX screen editors, normal copy may not be performed
in the second copy and later.
- Even when a data type is changed in the Device/PLC where tags/variables
can be registered, address display text may not be updated.
- When a main unit file is created in Text Table, the line feed position for
the main unit file may be different from that on Editor.
- In Windows 7, the text in the entry column of Switch Label may be
overlapped with the scroll bar, which is difficult to see.
- When Full View is specified for Zoom and Text/Switch/Lamp/Key is placed,
parts are reduced in display size.
- In the case when "Register Variable" is specified as "Address Format" in
System Settings of Logic Program Settings:
"-Undefined-" is displayed for LS address when setting is changed to "
Memory Link" in Device/PLC Settings.
- When 33 units or more is specified for Device/PLS for the same connection
device, invalid addresses may be displayed in List of Device/PLC
Management Addresses.
- When address is selected and the Input Address dialog is displayed in
condition settings of Animation Settings, the selected address may not be
displayed.
- When Text Table Convert is executed under the condition that the switch/
lamp/key label is moved to the place other than the center of the parts,
the label position is initialized to the center of the parts.
- In Address Block Conversion:
When the address that has been specified for Built-in Functions of D-
Script is converted to Device/PLC address, an error script may be
generated.
- When "Copy from Another Project" is executed from a project file where the
text table is used, font settings for parts may be reset to the default
values.
- Even when a base screen including D-Script is deleted, the address that
has been used for D-Script may be displayed in Cross Reference.
- When the base screen where Background Image has been specified is called
the background image may be displayed on the top window.
- When Address Input is executed with the items where internal addresses (LS
and USR) can be specified, the previously-set address is not displayed as
the default value.
- Even when the button to start GP-Pro PB3/C-Package is pressed under the
condition that "GP2000" is selected for "Series", GP-Pro PB3/C-Package may
not be started.
- When parts where the not-yet-installed image font is specified are edited,
Editor may be terminated abnormally.
- When "Copy from Another Project" is executed more than twice to the
project where Device/PLC (with the function to import the address such as
tags and variables specified in Device/PLC) is specified, Editor may be
terminated abnormally.
- When a numeric value out of the setting range is input, the numeric input
keypad may not be displayed.
- In the Address Input dialog, the operation when numerical keys are clicked
is different between internal addresses (LS and USR) and Device/PLC
addresses.
- When a project file where an off-line language display is switched to
Japanese on the display unit is opened with Editor, the off-line language
is changed to English.
- When a package created with Editor (before V2.50) is opened with V2.50 or
later Editor and placement is executed, alarm and text alarm are not
placed normally.
- There are some printers where Print is not executed in GP-Pro EX Screen
Editor.
- Even when connection equipment in Device/PLC List is clicked, the
specified connection equipment may not be displayed.
- When a window part is placed for a header or footer and the screen
orientation is changed, the window part position may be shifted.
- When a search window is closed during editing, operation may become
disabled.
- When "Copy from Another Project" is executed to the project file where
Device/PLC (with the function to import the address such as tags and
variables specified in Device/PLC) is used, Individual Device Settings may
be deleted.
- Writing may be made to the invalid address during filing operation in the
following conditions:
- Device/PLC (with the function to import the address such as tags and
variables specified in Device/PLC) is used.
- After filing data is output to the external storage, the address is edited
again.
- SRAM information in the project information has an error in the recipe
size.
- When "STEP7 project file" is selected in the symbol import function and
the comment with 32 characters or more is imported, 32 characters from the
end are imported.
- In the case when filing data (number of blocks and number of data) become
the out-of- range one after Device/PLC is changed:
When the filing data is edited again, Editor may be terminated abnormally.
- In Data Display, Graph (Historical Trend Graph, Data Block Display Graph
and XY graph are included), the same value may be specified for the
minimum and maximum values.
- When Alarm Settings are imported, the "Count" column in Symbol Array may
be changed to "5", which is the default value.
- When CSV file where the out-of-range color code is specified is imported
in Alarm Settings, Editor may be terminated abnormally.
- When Address Block Conversion is executed to the addresses (e.g. Sub
Display - Window Control Address, Cursor Display - Storage Word Address)
where only internal devices can be specified in the Alarm dialog box, they
may be converted to PLC addresses.
- Although "yy/mm/dd" is specified for date display in Sampling Settings, "
yy/yy/dd" is displayed in printing projects.
- The writing value when BCD is used for Data Type is not correct.
- Sound cannot be played when CF card is selected for the writing
destination.
- When "Copy from Another Project" is executed to User-Defined Functions in
D-Script, invalid operation may occur.
- When a project data of GP-Pro PB3 is converted to GP-Pro EX, D-Script
error warning may be displayed in error check.
- Although the number of characters does not exceed 30000 characters in D-
Script, the message indicating the specified number of characters is
exceeded may be displayed.
- When Copy&Paste is executed in D-Script, the cursor display position may
be changed.
- When symbol variables are specified as arguments of the built-in function
in D-Script, an error may occur depending on the changed Device/PLC
settings after editing D-Script, but no warning is displayed.
- In the built-in function in D-Script, characters cannot be entered up to
the specified upper limit.
- When the USB file operation function is used in Loop sentence of the
script and the Break sentence is written, an error message may be
displayed on the display unit.
- Comments (/* and //) may not be recognized normally in D-Script.
- When a project is exported without opening the read text screen, data of
Table 2 to 16 and 101 lines or later are not output.
- When a CSV file whose format is invalid is imported, Editor may be
terminated abnormally.
- When a Device/PLC address is registered as Symbol and all devices/PLCs are
deleted, Editor may be terminated abnormally.
- When the following steps are taken, Editor may be terminated abnormally.
- After Image CF is selected in Call Screen, CF card is disabled.
- Call Screen is edited again.
- When Text Table and Image Font are specified and Automatically Adjust Text
Size is enabled, those settings may not be reflected to drawing even when
Text Table is changed.
- When Hierarchical Screen Display is executed in Call Screen, the screen to
be called may not be displayed normally.
- When an alarm history switch (special switch) is specified for Global
Function, a warning will be displayed in error check, which was not
displayed previously.
- When Copy is executed after a switch lamp where a label is specified is
rotated, the label may be returned to the status before rotation.
- In a multi function list of the switch lamp:
Even when the order is changed, save confirmation may not be displayed.
- When switch lamps where a multi function list is specified are grouped,
the property window may not be displayed normally.
- In the case when the Designated Input Order check box is ON in the Data
Entry tab:
The group number may be the out-of-range value and the entry order may not
come during operation.
- When the No Shape check box is changed after Image Font is specified for
Font Type in Data Display Settings, the Data Type combo box may be grayed
out.
- When BCD or Float is specified for Data Type in Graph, the alarm upper/
lower limit mark position may not be displayed normally.
- In Graph settings of Data Block Display Graph, the upper and lower limit
values in Show Scale may be displayed in the search window even when
Specify Range is selected.
- When "32 Bit Float" is selected for Data Type, the difference between Min
and Max in Specify Input Range cannot be set to 1 or lower.
- When RPA Window Display is grouped and placement is made exceeding the
upper limit value, Editor may be terminated abnormally.
- When Copy&Paste is executed after the number of packages is decreased in
State Display, Editor may be forcibly terminated.
- When Display Position Settings are changed in Move Settings (Selecting a
Mark), values of part's width and height are not changed.
- When CSV file created with Recipe is set to Read Only, Simulation may not
be started.
- Even when a screen number is entered in Number in Address View, switching
may not be made depending on the selected target.
- Even when no change is made in Compare Project in Transfer Tool, "
Difference" may be displayed.
- In Memory Loader of Transfer Tool, the default value of the path to create
the backup data may not be displayed.
- In the Transfer Tool that whose version is older than that at the transfer
time, project files may not be received normally.
- The password input dialog cannot be operated when the transfer tool hides
it.
- When Transfer is executed with Retain retentive variables enabled and then
disabled, a retentive variable is returned to the value when project
transfer is executed with Retain retentive variables enabled.
- It may take time until edit is available with GP-Pro EX Editor.
- Date and time of the backup file displayed are different between Transfer
Tool and Memory Loader.
- Device/PLC information may not be displayed normally in the transfer file
information.
- When Confirm Backup Data is executed in Memory Loader, Device/PLC
information may not be displayed normally.
2. Display Unit
(Runtime)
- When PLC device value read with user functions of the script is used as
the window screen number, blinking may occur on the window.
- A display unit cannot be connected as a slave to the display unit with
CANOpen slave unit attached.
- When Image Unit Display is used and Video Control Address is disabled, an
error message (RAAA010 or RAAA013) may be displayed in rare cases.
- When a large sized data is copied using File Manager during communication
with Extended Scripts, update of [r:EXT_SIO_RECV] may become extremely
slow.
- When PLC device is specified for Control Word Address, the status writing
error (RHAA084) may occur frequently according to the communication speed
status.
- When a writing error occurs in write instructions, the error message is
not displayed.
- When the start time is specified, the countdown value during start time
operation may not be displayed in some combinations of model type and
color settings.
- When a System Menu is displayed during banner alarm display and the cursor
is moved upward, switches of the system menu cannot be touched in some
character sizes of the banner alarm.
- When data where GP-PRO PBIII data has been converted or data that is
before GP-Pro EX V2.01 is used, the rightmost item in Alarm History parts
may not be displayed.
- When Sub Display (Base Screen Change) is executed in Direct Selection, the
value of cursor selection position address may not be updated.
- In WinGP, filing data cannot be transferred from the CF card output folder.
- When Hierarchical Screen Change is executed to a screen with Security
settings specified and password entry is canceled, the "Previous Screen"
switch may be operated abnormally.
- After Screen Change is executed between Touch ON and Touch OFF in GP-33xxH
series, touching screen may become disabled.
- Rectangle may not be drawn when "Shadow" is enabled and "1" is specified
for the width or the height.
- When any of Start Application/Exit WinGP/Data Transfer switches and other
arbitrary switch are specified for multifunction, those switches are not
operated.
(OS Core)
- In AGP37**, AGP36**, AGP35**, AGP34** series, AGP3310T, and AGP3360T:
In the following operations, Ethernet communication may become disabled.
- Ethernet cable is inserted/removed when Ethernet settings are used with
Auto Recognition enabled.
- Power to GP3000H/GP3200 is ON/OFF in cross cable connections with GP3000H/
GP3200.
3. Device/PLC
- When there is equipment where SCAN OFF is specified, communication may not
be made to the equipment where SCAN ON is specified.
- While communication is made to 3 or more equipment in UDP communication
using pass-through function-supported drivers, communication may not stop.
- When ZF devices are read all at once (126 words or more), communication
error occurs.
- When power to PLC is supplied again during communication, the
communication error occurs and auto recovery may not be made.
- When bit device is used for Alarm Summary in MEMOCON GL and MEMOCON SC
series, alarm display is not operated normally.
- Communication error may occur in cycles of about 49.71 days (in continuous
operation) during communication with PLC.
- When 2703AP CPU IN/OUT device is read, communication error is displayed.
- When L5K is imported in specific language OS (e.g. Norwegian) where a
comma (,) is used for a decimal point, an error occurs.
- When L5K is imported again where Custom String Data Type is defined and
settings are made for parts, GP-Pro EX may be forcibly terminated.
- Module definitions to create Controller Tag/Data Type/Structure are not
imported normally.
- When the "" filter is specified in Data Type/Structure List, GP-
Pro EX may be forcibly terminated.
- When MODBUS slave drivers are used, isolation units are not available.
- When the clock data is changed in TCP connection with MODBUS slave driver,
TCP connection may be disconnected.
- Timer and counter device cannot be read normally.
- In UT2800, 5 to 8 channels cannot be used.
- Available address range for A1SHCPU has an error.
- When Screen Change is executed during use of serial multilink, a token may
not be passed to another node.
- When motion CPU is accessed, an out-of-range address error may be
displayed although the address is within the specified PLC range.
- When 4 or more display units are connected to 1 Device/PLC in UDP
communication, a communication error may occur.
- The entered address text is converted to that for controllers, logic
variables cannot be input.
- When variable data is edited with two or more variable data created, the
different variable data from the selected one may be displayed in the
variable list dialog.
4 Project Converter
- When a project file including "Undefined" in an address is converted and
then it is opened with GP-Pro EX Screen Editor, Editor may be terminated
abnormally.
- When Float is specified for Data Type and integer addresses of data
display/E-tag/K-tag are specified, conversion cannot be made using project
converter.
- When logic program is converted, Project Converter may be terminated
abnormally.
